Remo Review

Remo, Sivakarthikeyan’s next big thing was said to be the next step in everyone’s carrer. Sivakarthikeyan attempting a makeover in his looks and taking a big leap by donning a nurse character, Remo jus got the perfect pre release buzz. Infact very less no of movies had such a tremendous pre release buzz and expectation. Starring KeerthySuresh, Sathish, Rajendiran, YogiBabu and many, Remo had music composed by Anirudh, camera handled by PCSreeram sir, directed by debutant BakkiyarajKannan.

What is Remo all about ? Remo is a simple rom-com in Sivakarthikeyan’s style that entertains the audience from the word go. The story is much usual but the way it is presented is what matters. SK falls for a girl, wants to make her fall in love and he succeeds. How he does that is this film.

Big congrats to Sivakarthikeyan for taking up the nurse character as a challenge and succeeding in doing that. The efforts he had put in is appreciation worthy. The variation he has shown in both the characters is just an example of how forward Sivakarthikeyan has grown up as an actor.

On the other side, Keerthysuresh is cute and has done a good performance. Sathish’s one liners, Rajendiran, YogiBabu’s comedies are fun.

Having a very strong technical team on board, with PCSreeram sir handling the camera, Resul sir doing the sound design, Weta working on the make-ups, this cant go wrong in any ways. Anirudh’s songs and Bgm are good.

On the flip side, the logics could have been worked out well inorder to make it a perfect one. Song visuals are all similar and doesnt make much of an impact. Very minor lull moments without which Remo would be a perfect entertainer. Nevertheless, Remo is a wholesome entertainer that would cater to all types of audiences.
