Her memoir is a collection of personal essays, stories and observations of her life till now. It is a journey of a soldier’s daughter, from cantonment to cantonment, and then a dizzy rise to prominence via the Miss World title and then a Bollywood sojourn on her own terms.
Priyanka started her career into the entertainment industry at the age of 17 when she became Miss India and went on to win Miss World the following year. Since then it’s been a glorious 20-year career and she keeps coming up with innovative films. Now, she took writing.
She has acted in many critically acclaimed bollywood movies such as Aitraaz, Barfi!, 7 Khoon Maaf and Bajirao Mastani. She became the first South Asian to headline an American network drama series, Quantico, as Alex Parrish.
In 2017, Chopra made her Hollywood debut in Seth Gordon’s action comedy Baywatch as antagonist Victoria Leeds. Later, she also acted in A Kid Like Jake co-starring Jim Parsons and Claire Danes. She also played the supporting role in Isn’t it Romantic , a Todd Strauss-Schulson’s comedy, starring Rebel Wilson.
