Welcome to Covid – 19 Awareness Film Festival 2020
First Look Cinema presents you the Covid Awareness Film festival to encourage the film makers to avoid social gathering and to offer them a chance to do film making from home. Our price money is solely funded by the First look Cinema Management team to help the film makers during this difficult time of the year.
First Look cinema aims to complete this festival in 28 days.
Rules and Regulations
- Entries for the Covid 19 Awareness Film Festival are open for everyone.
- The Short Film can be based on any subject or concept related to Covid 19 and self isolation.
- The short film can be in any language. However, all films are required to include sub-titles in English (Optional).
- The total runtime of the Short Film, including opening & closing credits, should strictly be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 15 minutes.
- All content used in the short film must be either owned or licensed. If any copyrighted material is used in the film, the participant must have the permission and submit a copy to the Festival Organizers.
- The Last Date for Submissions is 21st July 2020.
- After 21st July, 2020, we’ll begin out “Late Entry Submission” process, wherein you’ll be able to submit your short film for an additional entry fee of Rs. 50. The Late Entry Submission deadline is 30th July, 2020.
- Short films must be uploaded to Google Drive, WeTransfer and must be made available for download to the festival organizers. YouTube links are not accepted because we will be using our own video platform for public voting system.
- Only Short Films produced after 1st January 2020 are eligible for the festival.
- The Entry Fee is free and one film maker can only enter for one film.
- To avoid multiple entry the organisers will require any form of official ID from the film maker.
- First Look cinema reserves the rights to copy or use the material submitted by the participants in any form, online or offline, for the festival’s promotional and archival purposes.
- The short films that are selected for final screening will not be allowed to withdraw under any circumstances until the festival is over.
- Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
- Festival Organizers and First Look Cinema reserve the right to change / modify / alter any rule or its part or event of this competition anytime.
