Sanjay Dutt, son of the renowned actors Nargis Dutt and Sunil Dutt, took to social media and announced that he would be taking a break from work due to a medical emergency. His post read,“Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!”
Soon after the announcements, his fan and followers on social media wished him a speedy recovery. Former Indian cricketer and cancer survivor Yuvraj Singh took to social media and tweeted from his handle and wrote an inspiring message for Sanjay Dugtt. He wrote, “You are, have and always will be a fighter @duttsanjay. I know the pain it causes but I also know you are strong and will see this tough phase through. My prayers and best wishes for your speedy recovery.”
Earlier on August 8, the actor was hospitalised for complaining of breathlessness. He was tested for COVID-19 and tested negative for it.
The actor made his debut with the film Rocky and did several films after that. Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra also made a biopic on the actor’s life . The film was a superhit at the box office and was criticized for presenting many serious scenes in a comical way.
