Actor and Film producer Ajay Devgan has announced a film on violent clashes between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan valley in Ladakh. The violent clash led to the loss of lives of 20 Indian soldiers. The Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to twitter to announce the news and tweeted,’ IT’S OFFICIAL..#AjayDevgan to make a film #Galwan Valley clash…The film – not titled yet-will narrate the story of sacrifice of 20 #Indian army men. Who fought the #cChinese army..Cast not finalised..Ajay Devgan Films and Select Media Holdings LLP will produce the film’.
On the day of June 15, 20 Indian Army personnel including the commanding officer of 16 Bihar were killed in a face-off with the Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh. During the clashes, some soldiers had either fallen or were pushed into the river, some officers reported. Later, some bodies were also recovered from the river while others had signs of being brutalised. A few soldiers also died due to hypothermia.
Ajay Devgan is also getting ready for the release of his latest film ‘Bhuj:the Pride of India’ The film features stars like Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk and Sharad Kelkar in lead roles. The film is written and directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya , the film is ready to have its digital premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar. Ajay also shared his views in a virtual press conference ‘The film is based on a true story. The story is about one day and one night. It tells this story of a common people who rebuilt a road overnight to help the armed forces during the 1971 war. We need to have more stories of such bravery and valour.’
